DO YOU PROVIDE ARMED GUARDS?

 

YES. While most of our clients opt for unarmed services, mostly  because of liability issues and the lower cost, BAY RIDGE SECURITY can provide armed services for those clients whose security requirements demand this higher level of coverage.

 

WHY DO YOU USE THOSE SQUARE BADGES?  THEY DON'T LOOK "OFFICIAL"!

            

IT'S THE LAW!  New York State does not permit any other shape badge for private security  officers!  Any company that uses "police-style" badges (or any other shape for that matter) is committing a crime!

DO  HANDLE PLAINCLOTHES ASSIGNMENTS?

 

YES, but we don't conduct investigations. We provide plainclothes security for retail operations, weddings, bar-mitzvahs, and other catered events.

 

BUT WHAT IF I NEED AN INVESTIGATOR?

 

We have an ongoing business relationship with a New York Licensed Private Investigator who 

handles the investigative needs of our security clients.

 

IS BAY RIDGE SECURITY LICENSED?

 

YES.  Bay Ridge Security has been continuously licensed in the State of New York since 1973.

 

IF I HAVE A SECURITY CONCERN AT MY SITE, WHO ADDRESSES THAT?

 

Our team of managers and field supervisors is always ready to provide special intervention and control.  We are at your service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

 

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT – ON A HOLIDAY?

 

You will never get an answering machine when you call Bay Ridge Security.  We are always ready and able to respond to any situation with appropriate manpower and/or equipment.

 

WHAT KIND OF PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING DO YOU DO?

Our personnel are subject to a rigorous pre-employment screening process including In-depth pre-employment interviews, background verification,  drug testing, and  fingerprint check with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services.

DO YOU DRUG TEST YOUR EMPLOYEES?

 

As a condition of employment, all employees are subject to random drug testing.  We have a zero tolerance policy regarding the use of unlawful use of controlled substances.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED ADDITIONAL GUARDS ON SHORT NOTICE?

 

We have a time proven ability to cover special assignments on short notice.

 

WHAT UNIFORM STYLES DOES YOUR STAFF WEAR?

 

Our most popular uniform is the “police style” uniform, closely followed by the “blazer” look.  We can always customize our uniforms to suit your specific needs.
